@genkakuzaii

You absolutely nailed it with "I might be on the worst fuel-injected dual sport ever made, but I'm riding a bike". It's just so incredibly fun to ride a motorcycle, any motorcycle. Ridiculously fun mode of transportation :D Great video as usual btw!

@calebm.5698

Record breaking cheap motorcycle collection!

@mr.guillotine1312

I'm not even really a car/motorcycle kind of guy, but I still really enjoy these types of videos for some reason. One thing I'd like to see is some sort of "Can you turn the cheapest (insert vehicle) into something premium?" with some sort of set budget... It's just always cool to see people take a very cheap option, and upgrade it for less than buying a better option outright. (don't mind me, just sort of rambling)

@orangepekoe7096

7:05 just some tip if you're doing some wiring on these Chinese bikes. Most of the time they follow Honda's color coding. So just find some wiring diagram for any older(non Efi) Honda and follow the color coding.

@billytk1225

I like how Halogen lights have been used on cars and bikes since 1979, but now all of a sudden they are not safe anymore. lol

@silvermannnnnnn

I’m super proud of you for just plugging that USB into your computer all willy-nilly… All the way from China.

Genuinely enjoying the frequency of uploads.

Nothing else creative or noteworthy to say today.

@luanscruz7943

Congratulations on the video, man! This bike looks a lot like the Honda Bros from the 2000s that was sold in Brazil, but in 125cc and 150cc displacements.

@pterodox123

Ha! I thought you were making motorcycle sounds at 30:45 and through the woods after that!😂

@ScrewDrvr

Did you seriously plug that china usb drive into your home pc?

@JonathanBaker-t6y

You need to realize that a good break in is critical! Save yourself the headache of having your bike start smoking on the test ride. You are likely destroying those cheap motors by romping them too hard too fast. It’s even more important on a cheap bike because they aren’t made with as fine of tolerances in the machining of the parts. I would also recommend making sure all the bolts are properly tightened that you can check. Remember the devil is in the details. PS thank you for making Grind Hard possible with your editing work etc. as much as I enjoy watching Ethan skills and vision, I mostly like seeing you learn and grow your skills. It reminds me of myself learning from my dad who is a premium machinist and mechanic. I remember him telling my to break in my first bike, a 1991 XR80. I should have listened but I didn’t, so that’s when I learned how to hone a cylinder and use micrometers. After a rebuild and a break in, the bike was running at peak performance. It was a hard lesson to learn the hard way, but now after many years of riding and building custom bikes, some of wich won trophies at shows, I became a hell of a good mechanic/fabricator and I know that break in cycles are absolutely necessary to ensure engine life. I can’t stress that enough. Take my advice and give those poor cheap bikes a fair review without prematurely frying the rings out of them. You will be glad that your bikes run properly and grow your knowledge as a mechanic. It will truly take you places you can’t even walk.

@ColtFerguson

I think the bolts that were too long in the case cover may have gone in a different spot in the cover as thats how my crf250 is. Theres a few longer ones and the rest are shorter and they probably mixed them up in assembly.

@Debo_ThePlayer

for how cheap u can get chinese 250cc dirtbikes i think they are worth it . all the ones ive had have always had reliable engines . somtimes wacky wiring but engines never gave out on me. i drove one nearly 10k miles in 4 months and never had issues even with the carb

@ScotlandsGold

Glad to see you back fitting the front wheel before the mudguard again 😁🤜

@ilodu1

30:13 They really bought it. 😁 The red dumb thing. 😅

@forestninjuh

5:53 try using the end of a zip tie bent in half to hold the nut in place while installing.

@MountainEagle77

After watching this video, I’m so glad I returned the hawk and did not keep it. I had this exact same bike that I almost went with it but returned it at the last minute. I opted for a Templer X250 and it’s been riding amazing from the get-go.

@CRneu

I'm not at all saying this is why the bike has halogen lights, but it might be a factor.

Halogens get warm. LEDs generally don't get all that warm. Halogens melt snow/ice. LEDs do not.

That's why you'll still find halogens on some off-road vehicles, especially where they spend a lot of time in the cold. It's why I still have the old 80s toyota headlights in my off-road vehicle and it's why I re-install halogen bulbs in the winter in my daily driver. It's something most people never think about and probably dont notice but it can make a huge difference when you need it.

@FDemeis

Those mystery spacers are for the headlight assembly, they go on the bottom two supports to prevent them from rattling against the lower clamp 😂
