@cayceqnot

I'm an albino black person and some people act like it's okay to be racist around me and it's absolutely infuriating!!

@DollyRewrite93

I love it when Kenji uplifts other content creators BUT WE WERE R O B B E D OF THE FIRST KENJI DESIGN NOOOOOOOO.

@kokopuffs7203

Knowing how sexy Kenji is irl, I can only imagine how robbed he and us were of his first Vtube model😭😭🤧

@Zewbiez

BRO WE NEED BROWN KENJI NOWWWWWWW OMFG WE WERE ROBBED

@Walnutsss

As a black person who is currently making a vtuber model, I don’t think it will ever see the light of day šŸ’€

@TatianaCrosswicks

As an artist, I really do not understand how people have trouble with curls or drawing darker skin, when tutorials exist, brushes exist. If someone wanted a black model, I would be ecstatic to make it bc I think it's fun to draw something for other people and it gives me a chance to draw something different and practice for different hair textures. Artists are just making excuses and for what?

@ExitzOfficial

as an upcoming vtuber, i can simply agree that this needs to addressed in the vtuber community,, it genuinely SUCKS to be black in the vtubing community sometimes ngl. so thank you kenji lmao

@AleksandarBell

Some people are so weird. The fact that someone’s first thought when seeing your reveal was racism tf??? My first thought was that you were very hot.

@Iris_Angel2448

I straight up didn't expect to see you shirtless and look that fit, I'm watching this with my brother and audibly gasped šŸ’€

@OhKaeLa

W VID W REACTION

it’s so annoying to see things like ā€œyou’re being too sensitiveā€ when black vtubers are literally have slurs being thrown at them unprovoked. the tube community members/audience need to get it tf together

@imkool5802

people rlly have to understand that since anime originated in japan and vtubing is inspired by anime, doesn't mean that black people (or people of any other race) cannot vtube because they're not japanese! its the same thing for kpop, when a foreign kpop idol debuts, they get hate for not being korean- even though kpop is just music that is based in korea and you don't have to be korean to sing in korean! yall some toxic mf's fr.

@ayotaledo

Ayo yo Kenji! Thanks for reacting to my video! Meant so much having my favorite vtuber see what I produced and supported it. šŸ’œ

As someone majorly new to VTubing, I've seen several of my fellas receive crap for simply existing, so I made a video talking my crap about it. Glad to see it impacted not just other people in the community, but it validated you and your own experience.

Also remember you asking to talk and get me on stream but I was KNOCKED OUT while you were doing your reaction LMAO, but I'm always down to make crud happen. It's what this fallen angel loves to do.

@Yikess3

Kenjis models are the best

@maqicool

I also find it really weird in the vtuber community that there's little to no accountability regarding talents bc if they get cancelled they can just "graduate" and rebrand and practically the entire vtuber community/fanbase will tell you to not bring it up anymore bc that's their "past life" ... Even though their past life was two days ago.

@aikotitilai3820

The OG concept of Kenji's model would have looked fire with the current outfit of his actual model. We were robbed, Kenji was robbed

@cranburrey

And they say we’re calling them racist for asking for an inclusive assets. It’s literally not that hard to add in different skin tones šŸ’€

@OsiPopz

This video is what my brain showed me the moment I thought about being a vtuber. šŸ˜‚
Also thank you Kenji for more content, you're spoiling us!

@The_Art_Gremlin

As a mixed digital artist (Brazilian+Native American), I try my hardest to expand my knowledge and research different ways to draw POC features like hair, the various skin tones, and even different styles of makeup and fashion. And I always make sure to get an outside opinion to make sure I don’t accidentally create something offensive or inappropriate. Currently I’m experimenting with the vitiligo look in my art, so Kenji, if you see this (probably not), I’d be happy to draw your amazing model with some melanin and then curls like you deserve, kingā¤

@mariso1

Really loved how you didn't hold back on your reaction! It's totally fucked how people get so comfortable online and say the most offensive things and think it can just be brushed off. It's a shame so many of yall feel discouraged because of situations like this. I hope more black vtubers enter the scene, it's always fun with y'all. Sending lots of love Kenji!

@Ryuuko-chan

I'm glad I saw this cause once I'll have my degree, I was hoping to debut as a black Italian/Eng Vtuber with my own character but I was hella scared to get started even through an agency (afraid of getting rejected for being what I am), so I though "let's go indie" but was still afraid. Now I have more courage to get started, just need to finish off my oc and try to rig it
