I love how Ebert slowly disintegrates throughout the video
Nobody leaves out this place without singing the blues. The great Albert Collins.
This was a funny and entertaining movie and my young son and I watched it many times together- the blues bar scene was especially fun!
I remember I loved it, it was a hit on VHS, indeed, you had no idea what they were going to run into next when their goal was simply to pick up her friend at the bus station.
This is a great film. A lot better than I thought it would be. An under rated classic. My favourite scene is Elizabeth Shue is dancing around the room.
One of my all time favorite movies that I still love even now as much as I did when I was a kid. You're off the mark here Ebert, this movie was and still is awesome.
Truly stunning how in-depth, serious and erudite an analysis they give to what is basically a teen fluff entertainment movie. This level of seriousness and commitment is what is missing from modern movie criticism. So many critics would laugh off the movie as a trifle and not give it a serious review. These guys take it as seriously and give it as focused and weighty an analysis as they would Lawrence of Arabia or Schindler's List.
I'm surprised that Siskel gave this movie a thumbs up and that Ebert gave it a thumbs down.
Saw this at the movies with my Mom and Sister loved it
Just watched this on YouTube. Been a long time.
I love this movie. Plus she's gorgeous
I love it how they put clips from movies on Siskel and Ebert back in the 80's except just pictures.
i loved this movie, elisabeth shue is beautiful very good ! CLASSIC !
These two are the hardest to get on your side But they are still legends!!!
This is basically a guilty pleasure movie.
This was a fantastic movie and now it’s a cult classic.
Been awhile since I've checked this out. Remember liking that Blues scene. The film's on Disney+ and I will be giving it a rewatch tonight.
This movie was real fun as a kid
I love Elisabeth Shue. I revealed her as an actress 2 years ago when I watched Leaving Las Vegas. I immediately fell for her...
