@GMTK

Awesome! Thanks for taking part

@PepperBoi

Gotta love GMTK cause of all the good devlogs that it makes. I kinda wanna start devlogging soon but I’m kinda busy 🤔

@spooki-2451

honestly, the way you presented the whole design process in this video is impressive and super professional for a random jam devlog, made in 48 hours no less! Also, the detailed thoughts for implied lore and potential mechanics you gave we're a neat touch that I don't see that often in these sorts of videos.

I'm going to give the game a try myself, it looks interesting.

@MalicProductions

I certainly know that all nighter feel. I was lucky enough to get mine up and running fairly early on, and while I did want to do a bit more work on it but I decided to let it stick where it landed. Good luck on your entry, really dug the atmosphere you managed to build. Genuinely spooky.

@FlatThumb

Stumbled upon this video. Nice idea - super spooky! +subbed!

@TobiasSample

"Game Over. Should've kept an eye on that thing..." maybe?

@RockyMulletGamedev

Cool devlog. I agree with the importance of horror games being at least a little bit difficult, the threat of dying is important to be scared. I dropped some horror games when I realized my actions didnt have any consequences and I could not die. No amount of scary sound and jump scare can do it if you don't think you can lose.

@lionjeff1640

Another great video! Didn't mind the longer time either, it was a wonderful breakdown of the game, your thought process behind it and what you'd like to do IF you came back for some updates. It's really cool to hear the concept and lore behind it, gives enough background prior to playing. While I haven't played it yet, I followed you on itch and will play as soon as I can (currently working on Mac only so between that and your proclaimed browser bugs, it might take a min...). This aesthetic and vibe REALLY fits into the horror games that usually get a lot of traction on itch, personally, I'd take another 72 hours or w/e you feel is enough and add in those little polish and updates that didn't make it into the jam version. Just to see what life it takes on :) Looking forward to your next video when it comes out, keep it up!

@panagiotiskotsias4496

I've recently started my game developer journey, and I can't help but be inspired and motivated by you! I hope I can make games like these too

@ListenerGames

I feel you on the time man, I had just gotten off work so I was asleep when it was announced and I worked both days of the event. The stress and time crunch was too real

@e_buffturtle

I really like the thought process that you go through when talking about your game but maybe for future videos you can add some gameplay footage of the subject your talking about for the visual learners in your audience. I would’ve really liked to see the ai in action as you explained it.

@AdThe1st

Seems like a great concept, not a horror guy but I might check it out

@TobiasSample

I gave it a shot and that is great,very tense!

@MakingStan

I like your personality

@retrowillgames9443

Looks like a cool game, I’m gonna give it a try later!

@mattmiller9752

good idea and great vid

@maximogallardo1841

What if in the game every certain amount of time(no more than 2 minutes)the monster rolls a dice that indicates how much time he has to count, the lower the number the lower you have to wait for the next dice roll but the lower the time you have to find a hiding spot is, the goal would be to get the highest time and beat your or other player's records.

Pd: it should be named dice and seek

@insandio

This game so spooky!!!

@Saw-qv3bl

Really nice

@orangehoodieink

1:19 I ended up making an RPG/DnD thing!
