Lot of people still dont realize that this intro its literally the "weird thoughts" sora have been having lately
i’d literally give anything to go back in time and experience this for the first time again
This is the only game where every time I go to play it feels like the first time. This game holds a special a place for so many of us.
i'm 28 years old and this opening grips my heart and soul enough for tears to fall. kingdom hearts means the world to me. happy 20th anniversary. 💜🗝️
All these years later I still love this fucking opening.
I love how there is. 1% disney in this intro, despite disney being like at least 75% of the game.
I just got home from the bar I'm drunk af and crying cause I stumbled on this again.....Fuck man what a core memory....
My best friend and I were so pumped playing this back in the day. Sadly he passed when we were kids this game reminds me of him never gets old.
Just decided to come back here after Sora was added to Smash, and damn it's been one amazing ride
the quality of games in this era and the era alone are unmatched
My first RPG style game and taught me so much about leaving your comfortable place and being afraid of the unknown but you were never alone with the friends and family you have.
20 years ago I played this with my 5 & 6 year old son & daughter. We haven't played games together for a long time unfortunately but this song makes me so happy to remember our lives together back then.
2:05 The part with Sora falling from the sky never fails to send chills down my spine. He looks like a meteor sent by the gods to defeat evil, the heartless, and save the world…he just didn’t know it yet ❤
Sitting here watching the trailer brings tears to my eyes a grown man with a career as a fighter with a wife and one beautiful son. These were the best days I ever had as a kid playing this all summer at my aunts house. Everyone cherish your time god gives you be good folks !
one of the best opening of all videogames, also one of the best voice acting.
idgaf what anyone says, if i hear this song you better believe im yelling the chorus
I remember the first time I saw this as a kid, it was included as an ad in some treasure planet Disney computer game I had at the time. It was before KH had released and I was so mesmerized by the imagery and music I would played it on repeat over and over again...more than I even played the computer game! I had fallen in love with KH before even playing the game because the concepts were so intriguing to me.
Man the cgi for the game still holds so well. Kinda wished the cgi was used for an possible movie
I love how if you look very closely at 3:03, you can see Sora's mouth very subtly turn into a smile as he watches the birds fly into the sea. 6 years late, but you can really feel the love the animators put into this before the time of AI.
