Microsoft has arguably fared worse than Sega and Electronic Arts combined. They didn’t allow developer 343 Industries to complete work on an additional DLC campaign for Halo Infinite, opting instead to lay off much of the staff. Similarly, the Perfect Dark reboot had the potential to become a spiritual successor to Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, but according to multiple news sources, The Initiative made little progress and was plagued by creative differences throughout development.

To me, this feels like the end of Xbox.

@Glacien3

Stop trying to give Phil grace. Phil is Microsoft. He has worked there 30 years. He has always been in alignment with board

@chocolocojames213

I was looking forward to playing Perfect Dark despite the goofy looking trailer. Guess not now 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

@johnpurdy5645

The reaction to the guy who said Mircosoft didn't layoff 9k ppl, Xbox did; your zoom in face reaction was fucking priceless 🤣🤣🤣

Sick track yo

@shecklesmack9563

You were called a “pony” for not wanting Microsoft to literally buy clout by acquiring a bunch of studios that actually make games (imagine how anemic their lineup would’ve been the past decade without those acquisitions). Somehow Xbox fans felt like the brand was entitled to be competitive and it didn’t matter to them if it was earned. “Let us compete!!” Go ahead, no one is stopping you! Where was Sega’s fifty chances after fucking up a hundred times for over a decade?

@wolfsaints

None of this stuff probably wouldn’t have happened if Phil just let Xbox get shut down the two times Microsoft wanted to shut them down

@sopor0

Just think about this for a min? MS put millions in a FAKE perfect dark trailer gameplay and KNOWING it was a cancel game! LOL CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@carlosoto1115

Xbox sucks their judgement stinks 😷 they should fired all the top dogs starting with Phil

@ChefRobWithTheDualSense

They had no choice. They were screwed either way the day they went day and date. Really before that, because they were forced to go day and date. Think where they would be without the acquisitions. Those games they bought are the majority of their viable games.
