Bulgarians are a very hospitable and peaceful nation. Almost the entirety of the Bulgarian society is against the war in Ukraine and demand for immediate diplomatic regulation of the conflict. The more Brussels bureaucracy is pushing the country against Russia, the more Bulgarians are leaning towards Russia. There is a saying, attributed to the old Bulgarian tzar, back in the WW2. When Hitler demanded Bulgarian army to join the Eastern Front, Tzar Boris III said: "If i do that, the entire Bulgarian army, including the orchestra will join the Russians."

I am from Bulgaria and still nothing is lost. There is one party, that is trying to prevent this disaster from happening, alongside few other independent people and organizations, but it is going to be really hard. Most of us dont want this and now we have started with protests, that are gathering thousands of people. Keep hope alive and fight!

I'm Bulgarian, i can tell you that Bulgaria is bought and sold 20 years ago already - the natural recourses, industry deliberately crashed, airports on concession for 40+ years and power production in foreign hands and etc...

I am Bulgarian and I can guys tell you it is a game over for us. And there is nothing we can do. Our politicians are too corrupt and paid by Brussels and they are leading us towards a disaster. We are currently an EU/NATO colony. They control everything in Bulgaria we are not an independent state. It's so heartbreaking.

I am Bulgarian and the protests have been going on for half a month now, and each time the number of people is increasing, but the longer they continue, the more we are now demanding the resignation of the government. On the 26th, we will protest in Brussels! We have sent a letter to the leaders of the European countries to support the Bulgarian people and veto them. If you have another idea, please, we would be happy to hear it. As you know, referendums in Bulgaria are unconstitutional, because it is a democracy. 🥴🤯

This is my third year living in Sofia. I’m my experience, there are very few people outside the political and business sector who see this as a positive thing. The Bulgarian people don’t want the Euro at. They can see cost of living here has already skyrocketed! There was talk about a referendum but the truth is, this decision is already made regardless of what the people want. Bulgaria was set on this path 20 years ago.

As a bulgarian I am disappoint in peevski and magnytsky. Very bad euro euro. No sovereign. No money. No savings. Euro bank gas only 1% cover. Money in vendors make big inflation for big biznes here. Russian mother is disrespected by corrupt euro feudal.
