The lyrics on this album are all metaphorically tied to the sea. Extremely dark, unknown, scary and haunting as hell yet beautifully majestic in its wonder and view. The album from reading the lyrics is definitely in regard towards depression, gloom or anhedonia with glimpses of seeing the other side trying to get out of it. Once you’re out, you look back and remember the beauty and significance of being in that dark place, almost missing it.

Love how her vocal volume is lower than normal for the chorus, creating ambience that you don't see often these days, it's almost angelic despite the gloomy tone of the song. Spiritbox always hits that spot
