One of the few times when the Pro is actually a pro.
This is the reason that understanding anatomy and kinematics is important for artists.
As someone who recently graduated from animation. This stuff is no joke, takes time and patience(a lot of this).
I like the way the shin bends :)
Pro artists would make a rig that switches between high heels and flat pose
Seeing how much a foot has to bend in order to fit into heels makes me wonder how much damage actual heels does to the foot.
I'm pretty sure having a rig would make it way easier
Just use the bone rig to rotate and apply. It will save you time adjusting the model every time.
nobody gonna talk about how the shin looks completely broken?
Gotta love the pro artist controlling the cursor with the keyboard
I prefer bone deform but that's good too
That's why patience is key. Finish the model first, then you can use one hand.
USE NEITHER, USE BONES FOR CRYING OUT LOUD
I see two talented modelers. One that has a lot of experience using commands, and one that has more experience with hot keys, and much more with feet.
Correction, a Pro is still slightly wrong. , a Veteran knows that it's also about weight painting (bone of the model and bone of the object) , to be 1 to 1 , otherwise it'll look deformed while movement.
Lol i learned all this in a year. But the hardest thing is still to decide what animation style you are going with
"Jeremy why do we need to rig each individual toe to move separately?"
It's funny how both of them suffer in some way.
I wish when I was pro at blender in 1995 at that time I wish it had sculpting tool ... But no probs new generation can enjoy it in there younger days is still make me happy ... I still can work but at the age of 85 it's little harder to be creative that much ... I remember asking for help on telephone to find out more blender's hidden feature and other friends just chilling and coding back in 1995 🙂❤ ... Finally turned 86 week ago ... Keep going game devs, artists ... work, rest, enjoy, work
