@silvernova354

Those of us who remember the the Original Trilogy when it was new (and what an ocean of humanity and freedom the world was then compared to now) stand shoulder to shoulder with Marcia Lucas. Yet more evidence, if we needed any, of how poorly made the Disney movies are and what a wretched hive of scum and villainy Hollywood has become.

@kencoakley8366

The first movie A New Hope is my favorite of all the films because it was a self contained story. The reason for that was because they didn't expect the movie to succeed.

@barryon8706

She helped make Star Wars a thing people remember. But the same ones who called people who didn't like Last Jedi manbabies will go after or dismiss her, too. It's gone beyond reason, into our side / their side.

@charmawow

Not only did the audience not feeling anything when Han died…..neither did the hack writer of this sh*t. He totally disrespected the character and his legacy. Where was the scene of Leia and Chewy mourning Hans death? Instead we got Leia hugging Rey (the most vacuous protagonist in the history of cinema) with Chewy just walking away in the background.
I haven’t watched TLJ because TFA was just so utterly hopeless, I had no interest in what happened next.

@Kevo_1634

You felt “nothing” because the writing was literally horrendous. To me each film deadened my passion for the franchise. Rey grew up on a desert planet and was a master sailor in a freaking tempest. How sway? How?

@tauntaungirl6520

G-d bless Marcia Lucas. SHE is the STRONG FEMALE behind Star Wars (with Carrie Fisher of course). Yep, I hope her name echoes in KK's head for all eternity "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!"

@scottfree7633

You're not alone feeling nothing when solo died. I personally felt more for Yandoo in guardians 2, I never gave 2 💩 about that franchise.

@TK-xh1xc

She is spot on. She did save the original Star Wars and she totally understood what was wrong with the prequels. She could have saved them. As to the Disney sequels- every thing she says is perfection.

@chubbyteddymonsterproducti1320

YES! I was hoping you would cover this. I LOVE the Mr. Rogers skit before getting to the nitty gritty LOL!

@MamaBearDoll.

To paraphrase another Disney property

This was brought to you by the letters K and Y

@nerdynailsrmgp

ive just been randomly laughing out loud to myself in the house when i think about marcia lucas saying what she said lol. she said what she said and did she stutter? nope. i knew about her , great editor who understood what george was trying to convey with the story. i cried and cried when han died and even worse with luke's death. i felt something, it was rage.

@dwightddddd

Priceless🤣😂
All those tears of soy🤣😂 🤣😂 🤣😂 🤣😂 🤣😂 🤣😂 🤣😂 🤣😂
She just dropped MOAB.

@watchforever1724

Yeah I’v heard about this on twitter too

@davidquintana2918

Marcia giving Kennedy a smack down. I love it. Han deserved better not taken out like a chump. He's smart enough to see what kylo was up to.

@repeter

The sequel trilogy brought no emotions except anger at how badly it was done. They had the world waiting 20 years, and that was the best they could have done? Seriously, so many fans would have done better

@hunnymonster7190

I love it Disney got owned

@jsthlrd

I agree with her assessment of the sequels completely. When it comes to the prequels, I get the impression she was thinking “If only I got the chance to edit them, they’d have come out so much better!” Which perhaps they would have. My only issue with the prequels is dialogue and Hayden’s bad acting. Other than they they were fine.

@cold_warrior

You are not alone. When I saw that scene with Han dying I felt nothing. It was so unimpactful. I can't be bothered to watch the next movies. Disney writers are all hacks

@Topg1

I didn't know that George Lucas was married to someone else prior to his present wife. I didn't know that she was a film editor. Marcia Lucas said what we have been saying since the TLJ. She seems to be very direct. She said what we though about Rey. It's nice that it's a woman with some credibility in the film industry. Women like myself say something we can be written off as having "internalized misogyny." We do know how Luke got Jedi powers. He trained with Obi Wan and Yoda. I think Disney is going to ignore this. They might ruin Vader character out of spite.
