I love Kay’s philosophy - instead of trying to desperately hold on to one’s youth, accept that you will grow older and look older. Just look your best for whatever age you are. Kay has grace and poise and this accentuates her “total package” and helps her to look lovely and glowing. She has the right approach!
This was one of the best messages I've heard in a long time! I am 56 and in college, working on a degree! Never too old to learn!!
"Graceful women are joyful women." So true, Kay!!
I used to work for a well known o gynecologist in Beverly Hills and I would often wonder how do these women keep their skin looking flawless? One day I got up the nerve to ask a patient whose skin was flawless I mean she barely had any wrinkles..and she was 80 years old. I thought for sure she can afford really expensive creams, dermatologist but what she said to me completely shocked me. Her secret nighttime routine was using VASELINE!!! 🙈 she would wear bold statement necklaces and would wear her clothes with so much confidence but her best assets was her sweet and humble heart. I totally agree with all your tips. My number one tip I will give you is to draw closer to God. The Joy of The Lord is our strength and that’s how I wake up every morning regardless how I wake up feeling I stay grateful every morning. Gratitude will outshine anything. Stay active even in the winter when we can’t go outside grab stretching bands or if you can afford a total gym machine do Pilates. When possible go for a walk or ride a bike..remember that when we have Jesus dwelling in our hearts we cannot fear the future ☺️❤️🙏
I can’t imagine that as an influencer, you are allowed to age gracefully! Some viewers can be so cruel in their comments! Another influencer I watch is a gorgeous 60 something and recently decided she was going to let her dyed hair grow out. Due to the mean comments she received, she changed her mind! We women need to be more understanding and respect other women’s’ choices whether it is plastic surgery or just allowing nature to take her course! Excellent topic Kay!
Thank you Kay, I needed to hear this today. I sometimes forget that we need to do something for ourselves everyday. I’m 72 years young, a widow and still finding my way... my late husband and I loved to travel and see the world after he retired. It was hard to take that first trip without him, but I did and grew stronger for it. Your tips today have been so spot on for me. Keep up the good work!
What is a graceful woman? She’s you Kay! You are truly an inspiration to us women in our 50’s! I’m almost 55 an official senior citizen and people are shocked! I love it. Aging doesn’t mean you stop living! I’m a worker bee. I work 2 jobs and is very active in my church. I love these tips. You have such great things to say. Live a quality life and you will live a great life. And walk with Jesus Christ. The epitome of grace.
Thank you for reminding me that I don’t need to give up as I get older. I’m approaching 70, recently retired, and single. I think we need to decide to age gracefully, and that’s what I choose. The past 2 years have been tough, first injuring my ankle, then quarantine. I was very active before the ankle injury and even after it healed, the quarantine set in, so I stopped being active and taking care of myself. Once ‘bad habits’ set in, they are hard to break, but today I will start working on ‘good habits’.
Aging is a gift not everyone gets to do it. Embrace the journey with love and joy!
Fabulous u-tube. I am 81. Started working with personal trainer March 2021 (bat wings are disappearing), went from SAD, American Standard Diet, to plant-based eating. Dropped my A1c from 6.3 to 5.5 and lost 13 lbs. I am a long time ballroom dancer and started taking lessons in Argentine tango to challenge my brain. U-tubes can guide one through many new ventures. Every day is a gift.....embrace it fully. Thanks to Kay for all the inspiration she gives us!
Thankfulness also helps the aging mindset. Growing older is a true gift that not everyone receives. ♥️
My mother use to say "let go of the bad, keep the good." Now I realized she was on to som÷thing. She was also very funny, a great story teller-irish-and had a deep catholic faith. She received communion daily till almost 92 years old, and died in her sleep.
Kay, this was so timely. I've been feeling a little washed up at 60. I just told my daughter today that I don't feel interesting. I'm taking your advice to heart. Thank you 💖
"graceful women are joyful women" so true
Thank you for this delightful channel. There is a sign in my bathroom that helps my day start well. “The prettiest thing you can wear is a smile!” I know you agree.☺️
I love each and every point in this video! Social relationships for women as we age is so vital. I think it's important to have friends older and younger than you.
Kay- I have watched your channel on and off but this episode really spoke to me. I have a 31 year old daughter who keeps me on my “style” toes and I am so grateful. I turn 65 next month and it is easy to slip into the doldrums. You are are doing a great job for your audience and for you. I like following someone who understands the obstacles of “aging gracefully “ and I appreciate you investing your time with us. Blessings to you and your family
I was fortunate that an older woman took an interest in my well being when I was in my most pivotal years. She validated me in so many ways, mostly subtle ways.
Oh Kay that was just beautiful, thank you. I'm a 58 soon to be 59 year old. I still work and love to keep myself youthful. I love your channel and I love our Lord.
