@jtenzgames

I'm jealous of how good you are at making enemies fit so well into the environment. Very inspirational, keep up the good work!

@RoleyVideos

The side quests to make a video game a commercial success are insane.

@strawberrys0da714

I know we only saw a little bit of it, but I love the freezing weapon. Seeing the enemies just turn into a giant ice cube cracks me up.

@TSHolden

Just throwing this out there, please consider making an in-game bestiary! The Hollow Knight style of "defeat X enemies to see details" is a great way of encouraging players to keep engaging with enemies that they might otherwise run right by, strengthening the overall game loop. It's also just, you know, a great way of recycling work you've already done into additional content for players who like that kind of thing.

@panampace

Been passively following this project for years. It’s amazing to see what looked like a tutorial-level demonstration turn into what looks like an attractive full length game nearly ready for release. Last game I followed like this was Tunic, so this is a good sign.

@Swinkly_

The game is looking fantastic! Love the colorful visual style, and it looks like a blast to play. I totally agree that being able to implement on or more brand new things in a day - whether they're enemies, obstacles or other mechanics - is super gratifying, and helps refresh inspiration for a project. Best of luck with this game, I'll be giving it a try for sure!

Game looks beautiful.
Simple graphics, I adore it.

@albair581

Where do you make or find all these amazing pixel sprites? I'd really love to know. If you drew all these, which tool did you use?

@alekseivoronovich8605

This might be difficult to implement but I love it when enemies in games interact with each other. Would it be possible to make some of the creatures hunt other creatures or be hurt by them? (such as when an enemy walks into the path of the lava monster) Alternatively, they could be designed in a way where two enemies work together.

@nerdy_dev

I was just binging your Dewdrop devlogs yesterday! Really cannot wait for Dewdrop Dynasty.

@dchen73

How well does each enemy integrate with the level design and mechanics? Have you carefully thought about the exact spot each enemy is placed?

@benjaminpinkston8624

These enemies are so charming!

@ExploreImagineDefineCreate

Duuuude the diving animation on the lava creatures add so much charm to them!

@DeadPlant_

I’m so happy it’s finally coming out this year, will you make a devlog and or live stream the day the game comes out?, and is the story an major priority of the game or the gameplay?

@envar1

4:37 I think you should go all in and overhaul the boss rooms. Just go nuts and make an awesome background with beautiful foreground elements

3:05 the power of iteration is really good, i can attest to that!
i also do my enemies in a different order, as in, i do the levels first, then i make the enemies (the step i'm in right now!), then i make the boss!
