A man punished his three-year-old daughter for wasting a roll of golden wrapping paper. The man's income was limited, and he was annoyed that the little girl insisted on decorating a box to put under the Christmas tree. Nevertheless, the next morning, the girl presented the gift box to her father and said, "Daddy, this is for you!"
The man felt ashamed of his reaction the day before, but when he found the box empty, he became angry again. He shouted, "Don't you know when you give someone a gift box, you're supposed to put something in it?!"
