An unfortunate fall during a routine exercise left this healthy businessman semi-paralysed when he fractured the C3, C4 and C5 vertebrae in his neck. He required immediate surgery to implant plates to fuse the vertebrae together, and then for 1 year underwent rehab physiotherapy at his hospital.
