Easy Oyakodon with Mentsuyu #japanesefood #oyakodon #japaneserecipe #mentsuyu #shorts

🥚 Ingredients
・Onion: 1/2, thinly sliced
・Chicken thigh: About 250g (adjust to your preference)
・Eggs: 2
・Mentsuyu: 4 tbsp
・Water: 150ml
・Sugar: 1 tbsp

1. Slice the onion and cut the chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces.

2. In a frying pan, combine water, mentsuyu, and sugar. Bring it to a boil.

3. Add the sliced onion and chicken pieces to the pan. Let it come to a simmer.

4. Cover the pan with a lid and cook for about 5 minutes until the chicken is tender.

5. Remove the lid and pour the beaten eggs evenly over the mixture.
Cook until the eggs are just set.

6. Spoon the mixture over a bowl of steamed rice.
Top with seaweed, if desired, and enjoy! 😋
