Etsy has quietly decreed that any 3D-printed item sold on the platform must come from the seller’s own original design, putting print-farm shops that rely on subscription or open-source files at risk of suspension and sudden revenue loss. While this wipes out thousands of copycat listings, it simultaneously clears space for genuine creators, rewarding sellers who develop and market their own CAD designs.
